On Holiday…
Well I didn’t get what I previously noted in the last post. Which makes me depressed. I don’t know who reads this because really I don’t care. So if your having an eventful, good or bad, feel free to comment.

After receiving two speeding tickets in one week, I find myself with no money for Christmas. Normaly I wouldn’t care but now that I am an “adult” I feel obligated to getting people things. So I had to get creative. For example, I gifted Chris SMB3 for his Wii using points that I received for Christmas the previous year. This reminds me of a Seinfeld episode on “Regifters.” But I did do something I have never done before, spend over 20 dollars on someone other than myself. I bought my dad a Wii. And no I did not spend 600 dollars on Amazon.com, I waited in line for 14 hours at my local BestBuy. But I did find something good in this situation, Bat For Lashes. I’m not going into great detail of why I like them because it’s late and I’m tiered. So here is my favorite song by them called, Prescilla.
Well its not really a note but, music! This is from a guy across the pond named Tom Vek.
Edit: That was a poor description. Now I’ll try to redeem myself…
This is Tom Vek’s one and only album released in 2005 called We Have Sound. The first song I posted is called C-C (You Set The Fire In Me). This song showcases what the album is like, raw garage rock, driven by subtle electronic touches and a backbone of funk. And I being a drummer may be why I like it so much. Because you can’t stop the funk. As for the second song, Nothing But Green Lights, its more electric. All in all its a good album so go buy it. Supposedly he is working on a new album but seeming how it took him three years just to make this one, I bet we wont see anything new for awhile.
I, just like Chris, don’t want to get in trouble with RIAA, so these are the full songs but I post them with the intent that if you like it you will go buy the album.
This song is on the second part of Radiohead’s album In Rainbows. Nuff said. Not really. I was just as confused when I saw this. So I did some research and found that these are bonus tracks that come with the disc box. So this track has been ripped from vinyl. Awesome. Here’s a tracklist of CD2:
“MK 1″
“Down Is the New Up”
“Go Slowly”
“MK 2″
“Last Flowers”
“Up on the Ladder”
“Bangers and Mash”
“4 Minute Warning”
